Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it pulls a lot of water. I know there is a lot of moisture in the air because we have had rain every other day in PA.all summer.It does its job. The only problem I have is the tank holds a lot of water and it is heavy to carry and empty. An additional feature is it also pumps out some heat which is an extra well like feature. I like it

The only reason I took a star off is because our last unit had a lock for the keys, which this one does not have. That feature is very nice when you have little hands running around hitting every button.

Saved My Basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A month ago during the wet, hot months of summer, we noticed some mildew starting to form on some furniture in our basement. It was at that time we decided to purchase a Frigidaire dehumidifier. For the first month we ran it continuously and emptied the reservoir every day. Since then, we set it at 50% level and it has really made a great difference. The construction is solid and the splash guard is something that other manufacturers don't offer. It is even stylish enough that sitting in the room is not a detraction. I was concerned about the level of sound that it would generate, based on comments I read, however on the low setting it is pretty quiet.

Great Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get a new dehumidifier three weeks ago and I bought another Frigidaire from Mainiero's Appliances in Vineland, NJ. The last dehumidifier I bought from them was a smaller Frigidaier that lasted 13 years! We live in South Jersey along the Delaware Bay and the dehumidifier runs daily, sometimes nonstop. Thus, we went for a larger Frigidaire model and have been pleased so far.

Big Basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my second unit. The first one failed with EC error message. The company quickly replaced it under warranty. It works well and runs a lot. I have it draining into a drain, so I never have to empty the bucket. I clean the filter regularly. It is a very nice unit with useful features.
