Even with it set on low it sucks water out of the air as if it was connected to a thunder storm. It shuts off when full, do not have to worry about over flow.

This past winter was the worst in the northeast for many decades. I was getting moist spots all over the basement. My neighbor suggested getting a dehumidifier, so I did my homework and found the Frigidaire FAD704DWD. It has been been the best investment I have made. No more damp basement, no more musty smell.

Effective drying....

The unit works very well, and really sucks the water out of the air. The only criticism I would offer is that the collection container can be a little tricky to remove without spilling water, and seems a little fragile when replacing it in the unit.
I love the fact that there is a handle on the top of this. What a simple idea but significant improvement for anyone who needs to move the unit, especially up or down stairs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
