[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It pulls water out of the air really fast. After it reaches the correct humidity the compressor will shut down and a few minutes later the fan will shut off. If the compressor is on for an extended period of time it does tend to heat up the room. Overall a good purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really doing a great job in our basement. It replaces a product that did not do such a great job (another brand). Our original Kenmore lasted 35 years. I hope this one will last at least a few years. So far it's great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Removes humidity from the air very, very well. Automatic humidity sensor not very accurate. Suggest using a “stand alone” humidity gauge to set the humidity level desired, thus the 4 star rating. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. This is a warranty replacement unit for one that failed in exactly two years.
