[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase about a month ago. First one did not work at all straight out of the box. The replacement arrived in a box that looked like two elephants had sat against it and the drain mechanism and unit case was damaged. The 2nd replacement arrived in a box that was damaged in the same location as replacement number 1. The drain cap was busted and the drain bucket had no float installed. DEFINITELY NOT THE FRIGIDAIRE remembered from years past.Totally disappointed with the quality, workmanship and packaging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frigidaire stands behind its warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Fridigairdehumidifier three years ago when it failed Frigidaire promptly replaced it under warranty. It is currently performing well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced my newer version under your warranty, could have been a mistake, but I like this older version better, it is less noisy than the newer unit that went out after 6 months of use.

Effective and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaces another I owned for two months before it developed an un-repairable leak. The units are, however very effective and efficient in lowering the humidity in our basement.
