[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far - so good. One problem is that the humidistat is not accurate. 10% off - thus the settings need to be adjusted for the inacuracy.

Hi, TOM go dry! We appreciate you taking the time out to provide us your feedback on your dehumidifier, and glad to hear that you are enjoying it. The internal sensor reads the air over the area of which it is locted in. If you are using an additional manual thermometer, the reading may be a slight different. A manual thermometer will only read the humidity of the air of where it is located and not over the whole area like the internal sensor on the dehumidifier.
Should you ever have any questions or need any immediate assistance, feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-374-4432 Monday-Friday 8:30am-8pm EST at your conveneince.
Kindly, Ciara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience has been dehumidifiers have compressors that go bad prematurely, perhaps 10% of the time. Pick one with a good guarantee . This is 5 years on the compressor.

I bought this unit last winter in preparation for the spring and summer. I set to the desired humidity and when the unit get to that humidity and below it contiunues to run endlessly.

Hello Kns2611. Thank you for your quick feedback. The dehumidifier is designed to pull air across the dehumidifying coils in order to collect moisture. In order to check the humidity level in the room, the fan must turn on, pull air across the coils and internal sensors to compare the current humidity level to the setting RH% you wish to achieve. If you do not believe this is the case please contact us directly. Our team may be reached by calling 1- 800-374-4432 Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 8pm (EST). Kindly, Anna
