[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this humidifier about 2 months ago to replace onem (also a Frigidaire) that I "lent" to my son. And last week I had over 12 inches of water in my basement after several hours of steady, heavy rain. I had pulled the dehumidifier upstairs so it didn't get drowned!!!!!. After 3 hours of steady pumping with 3 sump pumps hooked up to a generator, the water was mostly out. When I felt is was safe, i returned the dehumidifier to the basement and can say i was amazed at how quickly it dried everything up.......it was 3+ days. But it did a great job. Now my basement is as dry as it will ever be!!! Thank you Frigidaire for a great product.

Long Lasting and Excellent Working Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is partially underground and constantly has a heavy moister problem. A few years after moving in, I decided to upgrade from what I had been using to combat the problem to a better dehumidifier. After much research, I decided on the Frigidaire with 70 pint capacity. So, I bought one in 2013. Running 24 hours a day, I was emptying it as often as twice daily. In 2015, I decided I needed more. So, I bought two more of the same unit. With three units working 24/7, I was emptying about 1.75 gallons of water, or more (extracted from my house air),at least once a day. Recently (2019), I bought a fourth unit. They all run 24/7 and I still empty at least one of them every day. The four units have been running constantly from the day each was received until now (one for 6+ years, two for 4+ years, and one for about a month) without even one hint of a problem. My units have proven themselves, without failure, over the past several years and, because of their size, I don't have to empty near as often as smaller units would require. Evidently, my research paid off, resulting in my step up being truly a move to quality. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Work horse of dehumidifiers.
