[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for a month and controls the humidity well. My only concern is the fan runs cotinuosly with a 20+/- second break now and then. I solved this by putting it on a timer with 6 hour cycles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These products are a necessary evil. This is the fourth or fifth dehumidifier I have purchased in as many years. I have purchased a variety of brands.They simply do not last. They are not particularly efficient and they eat a lot of energy. I am looking into a larger more efficient system for my basement. I am sick and tired of spending hundreds of dollars every year on these appliances only to have them fizzle out quickly.

Superb Functionality for the Price

Basement Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased as a replacement unit for the same product purchase 5 years ago. That unit began icing and would no longer function properly. Not sure if that is an adequate life expectancy, thus the 4-star rating. However, this unit works great in our 1100 sf basement, so I wasn't concerned about purchasing another.

Concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s seems to be doing a good job, but when the compressor shuts off it makes s funny noise. Also the digital display is in 5% increments. My previous one was in 1% increments so it seems like it runs longer. I have it set at 55% but it doesn’t shut off until it says 50%.
