Love this thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sorely needed a dehumidifier, my house smelled so damp and I finally bought this one after reading the reviews and it really works. In the first 6 hours, I pulled more than 90 pints of water out of the air and the humidity went from 69 to 42%. Now I keep an eye out and turn it on when it starts creeping up. I love that it automatically shuts off when it is full, so no worries about spilling. The sound is too bad, not the whisper quiet, but not so loud that it is annoying. Worth it!

It works but for how long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plugged it in, set the controls and it works. Easy to use, reached the set point and cycles on it own. My concern with any dehumidifier is how long will it work before it begins icing. I rarely get more than 2 or 3 years from one. Fortunately, the place I bought it from was willing to recycle the last 3 units I owned, even though 2 of them were other brands.

No mold No mess

I've read many reviews for various mfg. products. Frankly, its a toss a coin in the air situation about what dehumidifier to buy. The last one lasted 3 weeks and started to leak. Finally, selected the Frigidaire 70 pint unit and it's been working GREAT. A plus is the heat generated is fast drying the hanging wash. So far we're satisfy with the unit. A very good unit for the basement.
