Very efficient!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier to help in our basement. I already had a dehumidifier there but it did not seem to be doing the job of keeping the humidity regulated. Put the new Frigidaire unit in the basement. In the matter of 6 hours it had taken more than 4 gallons of water out of the air. It is a great unit.

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it has performed well. It is the quietest dehumidifier of the 5 brands we have tried. The only drawback is that it dribbles when you empty the container. You have to take it outside to empty if you don't want your floor to get wet. You think Frigidaire could have figured out this problem by now after all the years they have been around.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this in my basement for about 2 weeks now. The unit does a great job at controlling the humidity level. I was surprised to see it run more often than I expected. I thought it would run to get to the set level and then shut off for a while until the humidity creeps up again, but in reality it is on almost constantly.
Noise level is ok but I would not sleep or watch tv next to it but after speaking to others both of these items seem typical for any dehumidifier.
The result is great though. My basement is much drier and the musty smell is almost gone and I expect it to be fully gone soon.
It is probably a good idea to add a hose so you do not have to empty the bucket all the time which I currently do daily. I am amazed at how much water you can pull out if thin air.

Excellent choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit does a great job! It removes water like a champ! I am replacing a Hisense brand after going through 4 buckets. After about a year or so, the plastic welds start to crack open. No good! This Frigidaire has better features than my old one. The humidity level adjustment is great, and I really appreciate the tiny red ball in the water level window! Please Frigidaire always keep that feature!
The bucket is easy to take out and and put back in gently, which should help the plastic welds not to crack. It is also a lot quieter than my old unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to help get rid of the stagnant air and humidity in the basement. Turned it on before going to bed, and the results the following morning were outstanding. No more musty smell, and the humidity has been below 40% as it is set up now. Could not be happier.
