Does what it supposed to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an older Frigidaire that stopped collecting water. This one was much easier to use with the hose attachment outside of the rear of the unit as opposed to inside the collection bucket area.
We had flooding in our basement with water-soaked carpet in my office. I put this unit in there and within 24 hours the carpet was dry.

Noisy

Simple working instructions

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The humidity level in my basement was 85% and the area smelled musty after my old dehumidifier died. Within 24 hours of setting this one up, the humidity level was at 40% and the smell gone. I have had this humidifier now for two months. It is not super quiet, but I cannot hear it from upstairs at all. It doesn't sound louder than any other humidifier I have had.

Based on the details you provided, you may need to try switching to CONTINOUS mode along with using a continuous drain. The continuous mode will help to empty the bucket without ever bending over or dealing with those pesky drips.
