Read the manual!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the dehumidifier a month ago; took it home and could not get it to work right. Duh, I read the manual, made a simple entry on the timer and now the unit really sucks the moisture out of the house. It is quiet and very efficient. Nebraska humidity is high and I'm so glad to have the sticky feeling gone.

Ease of use and operations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was forced to go out looking for a new dehumidifier after a power surge zapped the previous one and this model does not disappoint. It is the largest of the options at 70 pints so you would expect it to not have any issues with humidity, which it doesn't. My only complaint would be that it is pretty loud. As a function for saving energy, the unit will completely turn off once it's reached its set point, only to immediately turn back on 2-4 mins later with full compressor. Again, I realize its an energy saving feature but it can be rather annoying to hear the compressor turn on and off over and over. It is quite minor if it's far enough away from those who might hear it.
