Does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a dehumidifier for a 900 sq ft basement. After running this for a day, the old mold-like smell disappeared and the basement felt much fresher. I also got a garden hose to drain the water easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we unboxed our new dehumidifier, we discovered that there was a small crack in the water reservoir, which appeared to have happened during shipping. I called customer service and was delighted that they immediately sent a new bucket which arrived in a couple of days. The dehumidifier is working fine so far.

Needs a design change

This product works very well. Did not get my electric bill yet but it sure dries out the room. However it is close to impossible to easily replace the bucket once you remove it. It rarely slides back in along the tracks. Also the bucket gets very heavy when full. I manage it well but a dainty female would not be able to carry it. I did not try the hose attachment yet so cannot comment. Considering the price it should have been included.
