Very Nice Dehumidifer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice dehumidifier. This unit is much quieter than any other dehumidifiers I've owned, not at all bothersome and seems to do a fine job at maintaining humidity level in the basement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a failed one. This is my 3rd dehumidifier. The 1st one lasted 20 years, the 2nd one lasted 9 years. Things are made cheaper and cheaper. I'll see how long this one lasts. I hope to get 10 years out of it since it onIy runs for 4 months a year during the summer. I use gravity drain in my basement and it has been working very well most of the summer. I like that it turns back on after a power hit, which the last one didn't. I took 1 star off because the reservoir is cumbersome to remove and re-install.

Low maintenance and effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dehumidifier nearly two months ago after noticing high humidity levels and even mold on items throughout our ~1600 square foot home. Placed the appliance in our living room and try to keep bedroom doors open as much as possible...since buying this item we have not noticed any further mold growth! I also purchased a humidity meter which is showing that our RH level has dropped from more than 60% on average to around 48-50%. Keep in mind that this is in humid Louisiana during summertime. Maintenance is easy, we probably empty the bucket of water 2-3 times in 24 hours and simply rinse and air dry the filter every 10 days or so. It does make some noise, but I think that’s to be expected. So far I would definitely recommend this product!
