Purchased this on-line about a month ago. It was packaged securely and was an easy hook up.using the enclosed paperwork. It's quieter than I expected and keeping our basement dehumidified as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this based on the reviews, and that it had a hose hookup. Currently using it with the hose running to the basement drain so I don't have to empty the bucket daily. Yes, my basement will fill the bucket once a day. Well, it did at first, it's not running constantly now that the outside humidity has lowered.
It's also no where near as noisy as my old Whirlpool dehumidifier. And it doesn't ice up.
