excellent function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this unit for over 1 month and it does a great job in dehumidifying my basement. It also is very quiet compared to the 30 pint unit this replaced. My only possible concern is that the fan runs continuously 24/7 where my old unit (also a frigidaire) would shut off the fan when dehumidifying wasnt needed, and the fan would only turn on for short periods to sample the air until the compressor was required to turn on. It works fine but Im concerned about possible excessive wear on the fan motor causing early failure. Time will tell

Running Fine

Easy to set up and to operate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier has made our cellar a more pleasant place. It was easy to set up and is easy to operate. I have installed a hose so that it drains into a cellar drain, so the only maintenance required is to wash the filter from time to time.

Very Reliable & Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this for our insulated garage to prevent built-up moisture from promoting mold & mildew; after running it for several hours until the water bin was full, the 550 square-foot area downstairs was visibly much dryer; we use it occasionally now when needed & I am confident that this item was a great value & well worth the cost.

Works as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my garage which is surounded by earth on 2 sides. Have humidistat in garage which ways read 10 to 15 % higher than outside. Placed this unit in garage, set humidity to 75% and hooked up hose to drain water. Set it and forget it. Humidity always at 75% or lower now.
