Reliable and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a damp spring and summer, we noticed the basement was developing mold on the furniture! After cleaning everything off, we decided to invest in a sturdy and reliable dehumidifier - we’ve never needed or used one in the past, so we’re unsure of it's effectiveness. This one is doing the job well and hope I’m not jinxing it by writing this review. JK- so glad we went this route. Thanks Frigidaire

Frigidaire 70 Pint Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a 70 pint dehumidifier two years ago and it tripped an EC code. I called Frigidaire and they sent a replacement free of charge quickly. The new unit works very well in our basement storage area and keeps the area at 40% humidity without a problem. It does cycle on and off and does not sound very loud. Just the sound of a motor turning a fan. I cannot tell when the compressor turns on unless I am right in front of the unit. I have another unit in another location and that one has never had a problem for 4 years. Even though this is a replacement unit I buy another one and recommend to a friend.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, has definetly lowered our humidity. I do wish it ran quieter we have to turn the volume up and down on the TV when the dehumidifier kicks on and off which is frequently. The full basket beep also wakes everyone in the household if it goes off at night. But it does get the job done and super easy to empty.
