Dehumidifier is hot all around and not working

This has been running for 2 years with no problems. Now the whole unit is hot and not working. Can this be fixed??

Extremely effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a bit over a month ago and it’s done exactly what I needed it to. I live in an older apartment that doesn’t deal with moisture well, condensation on the windows, thicker air, mold, etc. This product took care of all of that with ease. I bought this based off the reviews even though it was a little more pricey and I’m very happy with my decision!

Good product, better customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased one about 3-4 years ago which did a great job dropping the humidity out of my basement. Unfortunately it displayed an fault code and stopped working. Contacted Frigidaire and they sent me a brand new unit without the defect at no cost, just needed to proved that I had disabled my old unit.

Works, but it's noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit to keep the humidity down in a bedroom due to recent diagnosis of allergy to dust mites. Evidently, dust mites can't survive in low humidity. This unit does a good job of keeping the humidity down in a bedroom (13 x 12). It is quite loud and couldn't be kept running while trying to sleep.
