Works better than my previous dehumidifier!

This unit has lived up to its review. It removes the humidity and is much more quiet than my previous product.

Poor drain design

Took 5 tries to figure out service recordings. Told drain was updated to new design. Unless the unit is right next to the sump pit, catch tank will fill. Had it for about 2 months and it is a little louder already. Seems to move a good amount of air. Baffles work well in catch tank to keep water from spilling. Overall service and design need improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am extremely happy with my Frigidaire dehumidifier!
A friend recommended I try the Frigidaire brand after having purchased 3 other brands which quit working after 2 years each. The Frigidaire is quiet and dehumidifies my basement wonderfully! I have high hopes that it will work for more than 2 years!

Working well to date. Keeps my basement at about 45% humidity. Nice feature is the hose attachment.....no need to monitor the unit daily.

Works great now. I am very pleased; I even bought a second unit. But dehumidifiers have a way of failing after 3 years. They are basically refrigerators, which last a decade. I hope to get at least 5 years from them.

We bought this for our office because it was very humid on the second floor, particularly during the summer. One of our employees with asthma was particularly suffering from the humidity. I've heard much less coughing, and the staff up there say it works. It's not the prettiest machine, and it's a pain to have to empty frequently, but it gets the job done.
I would recommend this to a friend!
