Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to cancel my storage unit and get a dehumidifier instead. Wow! What a great deal. I can now keep cardboard boxes in my garage. The “stank” is gone. I had to hook up a garden hose because the machine was filling up every 24 hours. Now, it is so convenient and hooking up the hose I already owned was a cinch. The unit is relatively quiet as I can only hear it when I am actually in the garage. Variable settings allow me to set my humidity level. This was such a good investment. Now I don’t have to save those annoying little dry packets. I can rely on this terrific dehumidifier.

Replaced an older different manfacturer unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement was growing mold a few years ago, so I bought a dehumidifier from a different manufacturer. It worked well for a long time, but I noticed recently that it wasn't turning on like usual. When I checked the reservoir (connected to a drain hose), it was completely dry right to the very bottom, so it hasn't been working at all for quite some time. My online research found this Frigidaire as the highest rated,and it seems to be working perfectly. I really like the option to select the humidity level and it automatically runs to that level. But I have only had it for a short time so far. Years will tell the complete story.

Quiet operation and removes moisture pretty fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last month and started using it right away. The first time, the bucket filled up in 8 hours (lot of moisture in the basement). I have been using it regularly and it works really well. Easy to clean the filter. great product.

Broken out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It ran, the compressor came on, but it didn't take any water out of the air. Had another unit running upstairs that was taking water out of the air so it wasn't a temp or relative humidity issue. Junk product.
