[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased my home in 2013, a Frigidaire 70 pint capacity dehumidifier conveyed with it. The original owners had the unit in the basement with a drain hose attached to the back of it such that it drained into the basement's floor drain. At times growth in the hose would obstruct flow, resulting in drainage into the unit's built-in drain bucket ... which I came to appreciate because the bucket has a float that will shut it down when the bucket is full.
That original unit ran year-round from 2013 to 2016, when it died. I have no idea how long it was owned and run prior to becoming mine, but I was happy with its noise level, feature set, and dependability in the time I owned it ... so I replaced it with the exact same model/unit.
When I replaced the first unit, I elected to ditch the original drain hose ... and drain out the back of the unit into an existing sump such that there was no more use of the floor drain and not much of in the way of hose to clog with growth. My second unit also ran year-round, lasting me from 2016 to late 2019, when it suddenly spat out an 'EC' error code and stopped dehumidifying properly. Fortunately, I had registered the unit and maintained proof of purchase, and it was still under warranty. Frigidaire readily (and quickly) honoured the warranty on provision of the requested materials.
My third unit (the warranty replacement) has been going strong since receiving it ... and if it kicks the proverbial bucket, I'll replace with yet another one. Why? Because running 24x7x365 to achieve 35% relative humidty where I live works these units hard in my climate zone, thus, a 3-5 year operational life is very reasonable. I've had cheaper units from other brands in the past ... and they never lasted me as long as these.

Great dehumidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this dehumidifier for at least 4 years. It helps control fleas in the house when we run it at 45 percent because fleas can't live in less than 50 percent humidity. There are 4 dogs that we share our house with so keeping fleas at bay is a priority. This unit does the job. It also helps to stop any mold from growing.

Really nice dehumidifier

Very Impressive Unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dehumidifier is working great! I like the hose connect feature i have routed to my sink that allows me to be worry free on discarding water periodically, however if i did have to let it fill, this one has a great capacity!
