Great dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last summer after our year-old cheap brand died. This dehumidifier has worked really well in our small finished basement. It is a tad noisy, but it really gets the moisture out of our doors and air.

Saving my basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this about a month now, and love it. Its keeping my basement odor and moisture free. I hardly know it's running and its piped into a drain. I have no maintenance and no worry knowing my family and our belongings are being kept safe. At least in this respect. Well worth the money.

Didn’t last long

Not pleased, this dehumidifier only lasted for a year and a half from purchase. During that time it only ran 9 months. Worst dehumidifier life of any that I have owned. Too bad it appeared to be a nice product.

Fatal fails

The last two I purchased had fatal EC errors within months of receipt. Fridgidaire said that they might send a replacement but only with a limited warranties. That didn't seem worth the effort so I'm checking out the competition.

So far this unit has been running great.

I only one to fail after 3 years of hard work and I'm holding on to it for spare parts. I would give this one 5 stars but have only had it for 5 weeks. My oldest one is 5 years old with no problems.
