[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got this about a month ago,so that's why I didn't rate it excellent. Ppl complain about the noise a dehumidifier makes.....any of them are going to make noise. This one to me is a soft noise,if you will. Doesn't matter, we have to have one & this one had good ratings. Hopefully it's better than the last 2 GE's we had. I like GE,we have a GE electric range,fridge,& microwave. Don't know what happened w/their dehumidifiers.

Love This Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this dehumidifier for about 1 month now and it works great! It is replacing a 30 year old unit. The old one was just plug in and go. No features like the new one has. Plus we have noticed lower operating costs even after 1 month of operation.

Just what I wanted

I have another one which has been rock solid, so I looked at this one for a damp church basement. Perfect! It has an easy connect to a drain hose, I can set the humidity level easily, and it just runs, which is nice.

Convenient & effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected, until it doesn't work at all. They only last 2-3 years after which time something goes wrong & it needs to be replaced. This is the norm now with many household appliances unfortunately. Yes, it's a conspiracy... to get us to keep spending. This isn't about Frigidaire, which has been nothing but cooperative & easy to work with. All companies do this now. I do recommend this dehumidifier, it works well & has convenient set & forget settings, too bad its discontinued, maybe it had too much longevity.
