freezing ice buildup

Purchased this in 2016 for our one level home. Has worked great in the past BUT just turned it on yesterday for the spring humidity and the coils are freezing up at the bottom :( House temp is 64.

Working as hoped and quietly.

We need the 70 pint size and were looking for the best quality we could’ve find. The reviews were good. So far we are very pleased with the performance and our purchase.

Keeping the basement dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we’re very pleased with this dehumidifier. It is running in an walkout basement with about 1600 sqft. There is a very noticeable difference in both feel and
smell in the basement. The humidifier typically indicates the humidity is 50% but it only indicates humidity in increments of 5%. My temp/humidity device is reading between 44% and 47% humidity with the humidifier set at 45%. The fluctuations are mostly due to outside conditions and the number of times we go in and out the basement door. It’s definitely doing the job. Ask me again in 5 years how happy I am.

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace another that stopped working. The auto drain is a nice feature. Ran it on high for about 3 days on high and then dropped it to low. Works very well.

Life Saving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not live where I do without this dehumidifier. Tt pretty much 247. Very easy to operate, water tank very easy to empty, it is fairly quiet. Easy to set the desired level of humidity. I hope whatever you replace it with can live up to it.

Ok for small basements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one we have had. First one lasted 5 years. We use it in our crawl space. It reduces the humidity a few percent but is too small for this space. It would be ok for a small basement.
