[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] using this unit in basement storage area. hookup to garden hose for drainage is easier than with earlier models. unit runs dependably to avoid overly high humidity.

Basement Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month a go and I am completely satisified with it's performance. The humidity in the basement is being maintained below the uncomfortable range based on fluctuating room temperatures and no more musty odors. I chose Frididaire in the hopes that this unit lasts longer than 18 months. I have purchased other brands over the past several years and they have all quit working between 12 months to 18 months.

70 Pint Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Frigidaire dehumidifier since about 2008. I am very satisfied with it efficiency and user controls. However, I do not agree with the unit's humidity readings.

Works great for 3 years

Worked great for 3 years, then beginning the 4th season, it shows error coed EC and stops running. I've unplugged, cleaned the filter, etc. nothing seems to help, it runs for a couple of minutes then stops and shows error code EC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit worked well last summer. This spring it would not remove the moisture and I returned it for a replacement. Unfortunately the store no longer stocked it and provided another brand. It is sad that Frigidaire cannot make units that last even one year.

Efficient and very easy to setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a 3 year old Kenmore. Within 4 hours it had lowered the humidity by 25%. So far I am very satisfied. I just hope it lasts more than a few years.
