A quiet workhorse

This thing works great. All I did was unpack it and plug it in. I have an extremely damp basement in the summer months where the humidity causes the concrete basement floor to get damp spots. This thing dries things out quite nicely. I'd had it for several months now and it's very reliable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works very well

We purchased this product after reading several online reviews. It works well, removes a great deal of moisture from our basement. We have it set @60% humidity which seems to be good for our basement area. We tried running it at 55% but the unit ran constantly probably due to the wetness of the area. The only "criticism" I have is that the fan will turn on and off rapidly between cycles. It seems that the minute it registers a higher humidity than what is set the fan kicks on, which drops the humidity level very quickly. It's a tad annoying when you are in the room and the unit is doing this, but a small price to pay for a solid piece of equipment

This unit works very well.
The only negative aspect is that the reservoir is not set up for ease of cleaning.

My Second 70 Pint Dehumidifier

This is my second Frigidaire dehumidifier. The first one started to fail during the third year. The dealer went out of business so I couldn't get any help there. I contacted Frigidaire and they helped me to purchase another of the same. So far so good. It is maintaining 40% humidity in my basement and seems to be functioning 100%. I am happy with it.

The best so far

This thing has been running non stop since I bought it. I am not sure if it is supposed to. I set the humidity to 50% and it reached that relatively quickly. Despite this, the fan continues to run. I am guessing this is just a feature to circulate fresh air and that the dehumidifier is not actually continuing to take moisture out of the air. Regardless this is has been the best dehumidifier I have had so far. In my current house, this is my fifth dehumidifier. Most of them run hot, don't reach the desired humidity, freeze up, ect. I have been running this one for two months and it has been working great. I attached a hose and have it running into my floor drain which is a great feature. It does increase my electric bill as all of them do. Overall, at this point, I am completely satisfied with this product and the value for the price.
