Effective moisture removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a unit which I had used for about 7 years before it quit. Within a couple of days, this unit effectively reduced the humidity in a large area of my basement (about 1000 sq ft). Easy to empty the holding bucket. Strong fan. Well built.

Good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great unit for the price. Works well in my basement. I only wish it had an automatic timer as I don’t need it to run 24 hours a day.. the timer on this unit has to be reset manually every 4 hours or let it run continuously. I turn it on in the morning and turn it off at night.

My go-to unit for my rentals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several of this model in various rental properties. I see it's a discontinued model now but there are still some around for purchase. When you first turn it on you'll need to let it run for a day before it really seems to start working. Not sure why that is but it's been my experience.

So Far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only purchased this dehumidifier 3 weeks ago, but it seems to be efficient and fairly quiet. I use the hygrometer to set the humidity and run it on constant mode in my basement; it seems to be doing a good job pulling moisture out of the air since the basement is drier and smells cleaner. I also opted to run a hose from the back of the unit into a Little Giant condensation pump and that set up also seems to working very nicely. That set up was quite easy and I do not need to empty the collection bucket the condensate empties into the pump tank and it is then pumped into a deep sink drain. If the dehumidifier runs this efficiently for the next 8-12 years, I'll be satisfied.
