Takes the air out and works like a charm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because my humidity in my house, particularly my basement was high, around 60-75. Within 24 hours this got it down to a normal 55%. I have a basement about on 1600 square foot floor plan and I empty the bucket once a day, but will eventually set it up for continuous drainage. Although it is in my basement, it also takes care of the humidity upstairs too. Much less expensive than the 3 grand someone wanted me to spend on a commercial dehumidifier. It has a filter reminder and a auto shut off when the bucket is full. I have had no leak issues.
I would just let it sit upright for about 2 days before using. No issues so far and I have had it for about 1.5 months.

Better than the last one

My 50 pint one sits next to this one cause it only lasted less than one year.(Was not good) Was disappointed to find out after buying that it is a discontinued model. I hope that does not effect the working of this one.

Longer Life Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dehumidifier one month ago for our unfinished basement to replace another Frigidaire dehumidifier. What I like about Frigidaire dehumidifiers is that they tend to work for 5-6 years for me. Other brands have died in 2 years, so I have stopped taking chances and rely upon this model. I also like being able to set the desired humidity level and running the water directly into the basement drain so I don’t have to remember to dump the catcher all the time.

Certainly Gets The Job Done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handles my 3200 sq ft basement with ease. Is relatively quiet to past dehumidifiers. I use the collection bin and dump the water out each day. It generally fills in one day. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that I have only had it about 5 weeks and durability is a factor that I cannot judge. As this product is a discontinued model, not sure why they want me to review it... if you can no longer purchase it... let's hope newer model is as good or better
