Good for removing humidity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model based on the reviews. Unfortunately, while the model does indeed work in removing water and lowering the humidity in the house, it cycles on and off too frequently. At times there is not even a minute between cycles. It constantly turns on lowering the humidity at the level I set it at, but then will turn off; and then turn back on quickly. Since there is a considerable electrical drain, I can tell when it cycles as the lights will dim as it cycles on. Knowing this now with my experiences, while I like the amount of humidity it removes from the house, I would choose a different model or make.

Frigidaire 70 Pint Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second dehumidifier of this model I have purchased. The first one lasted 6 years, running constantly in the basement. That is a long time for a dehumidifier to last, running like that. So I am very pleased with this model of Frigidaire Dehumidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dehumidifier for our 1200 square foot house and within the first few hours of operation, it dropped the humidity percentage by 15 percent. I keep it usually at 45 percent and it keeps up super well in the house. I have to empty it at least once a day so the continuous drain would probably be worth your time setting up especially if you live in a humid area. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this a few weeks ago to dry out the basement and also got the hose to drain it down the sump. Noticeably drier down there. Not too loud. great unit. Hose makes all the difference if you have a place to drain it. No more constantly checking for full buckets,

Overall a great unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this over a month ago after our 2 yr old competitor’s model developed a leak and was unusable.
Great features, easy to set up and use, fairly quiet. Hopefully we can get a longer life out of this model. If so, I will be coming back in the future.
