[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier spent its' entire life in our basement. It didn't last a full five years but it did last more than four. This one didn't die via shooting sparks like the last one of a different brand did so that's a plus in my book. (the last one terrified us into avoiding that brand entirely) This one died by flashing the code EC, shutting down and refusing to react to any button presses though unplugging it and plugging it back in made it work for a few hours before it shut down again. It was still pulling water out of the air but we don't have time to go down to unplug and replug the unit every few hours so we're seeking a replacement.
