Quiet and Efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought a Frigidaire dehumidifier over a year ago and loved it. My father recently needed a dehumidifier in his house, so I gave him the first one I and purchased the 70 pint model just a few weeks ago. It is so quiet, very energy efficient, high quality and does an excellent job in my basement. I have had 3 dehumidifiers made by other manufacturers in the past and Frigidaire by far makes the best dehumidifier I have ever used. I will buy a Frigidaire again for my next dehumidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dehumidifier for a month now. Right away I could tell the difference in my basement. Within a day the damp smell was gone. The parts on this dehumidifier are sturdy. When I empty the bucket the handle seems well made and strong. The controls are easy to use. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Frigidaire 70 Pint Capacity Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third one I have purchased since 2008. The newest one is much noisier than the previous two I have owned but it does a great job pulling the humidity out of my house.
I hope this one lasts for a while as this is a discontinued product.

good capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit to replace one exactly like it . The old one gave us great service and we expect this one to do the same. It is very quiet and pulls out a lot of humidity out of a larger area. We're quite impressed with Frigidaire appliances.

frequent cycling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dehumidifier cycles on and off too often after humidity target is reached. Seconds after the fan shut off, the humidity reading jumps up by 5%, and another 5% a few minutes later, which causes the humidifier to start again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to know that the dehumidifier is working well, except for your concerns with how often the fan runs. The fan will cycle off and on to test the air to ensure that the RH% (relative humidity) the unit is set for, is maintained. If the humidity in the room is higher than the RH% setting the unit is set to, the compressor will kick on and dehumidifying will begin.
