frequent cycling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dehumidifier cycles on and off too often after humidity target is reached. Seconds after the fan shut off, the humidity reading jumps up by 5%, and another 5% a few minutes later, which causes the humidifier to start again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to know that the dehumidifier is working well, except for your concerns with how often the fan runs. The fan will cycle off and on to test the air to ensure that the RH% (relative humidity) the unit is set for, is maintained. If the humidity in the room is higher than the RH% setting the unit is set to, the compressor will kick on and dehumidifying will begin. A Great Product!

I selected the Frigidaire unit based on positive assessments from others, and excellent experience with another Frigidaire unit like it, also in our home. It has been living up to expectations--I would recommend the product.

Not as good as the Frigidaire it replaced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is supposed to have two fan speeds, but changing the fan speed button has no descernable effect. I returned the earlier order because of this, but the replacement is no better. So, it functions noisier that the earlier model. But, it functions well and I had great lifespan with the earlier one, so am keeping thought somewhat disappointed.

Nice Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well this was a much needed purchase for our household. We had a pipe break and got 3" of water in our basement. With all the water cleaned up there was still a dampness in the basement (doesn't help the extemely humid weather we had been having). We have been running this as per the instructions and this has eliminated that dampness. Work great.

Does what it is supposed to do

I love when a product does what it is supposed to do. Time will tell how great it is because I feel like every two years years I have to buy a new one.
