I liked the equipment a lot. Everything runs atmatically. You set the humidity level and it goes..Good.

It works, but for how long.

The product works as expected and is actually quieter than my previous unit. My biggest concern isn't how it works now, but long term how will it work. I haven't been impressed with the normal dehumidifiers' lifespan. Seems like they only live for 1-5 years... maybe they should be made of better quality materials so they last longer (5-10+yrs).

Very effective unit

Have had bad luck with dehumidifiers. One broke a week after the guarantee ran out. This is our first from Frigidaire, and it has done a great job. Removes huge amounts of moisture. Hook up with hose or you will be emptying the bucket often. On the basis of one full season, would definitely recommend this model.

I have lived in my present home for 38 years and always had a dehumidifier in the basement. Been through 4 other brands. This Frididaire 70 pint is SUPERIOR all around. QUIET, EASY TO EMPTY, VERY EASY TO OPERATE, ACTUALLY TURNS OFF COMPLETELY AT TIMES, NEVER CONTINUOUSLY RUNS LIKE OTHERS. DOES A FANTASTIC JOB! Owned it for 6 months, through a summer too!

Works well. Handle and splash guard make emptying very easy. Has a slight high pitched whine while running.

Works exactly as advertised and cosmetically it looks great. The fan has two levels, but I've always maintained it on low due to the noise of the fan on high. Even being in the level below me, I can still easily hear it.
