[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in July after I purchased my home. It stopped working in September. I will have to buy a new one in the spring. I am very disappointed in the life span of the product.

Works great, 2 failed in 16 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit has great capacity but does not last. Purchased 1st one in Aug 2015, stopped working in May 2016. Replaced under warranty, that unit has now failed and am waiting replacement as of Dec 2016. Both failed the same manner, no longer can reach the setting of 45% and can't get below 55%.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pleased for a bit, then . . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier worked very well at first but now it gives a "not working" display. The book suggests unplugging the unit, waiting a few minutes and starting it again. It runs a bit and quits again--same note on display.

If the error code is EC or FO, please check the outlet voltage as it should be 115v+-10%, and the surrounding temperature should be within the range of 41° to 96°F. Won't hold basement at 40%
