Easy to Operate

This unit is a warranty replacement for the one I purchased less than one year ago. The compressor on the first one failed. I do like the controls and ability to set the desired humidity level. Would recommend but be aware of potential compressor failure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

sturdy, but a little noisy

Does the job, but seems a little more noisy then what I was expecting. The bucket is a little unstable when pulling it out to empty

Very quiet

Works OK, problem adjusting humidistat. I have 3 electronic humidity testers. I would like to keep my humidity at 55%. When set at 55% it reduces the humidity to 47% and runs too long. When I set it to 60% it reduces humidity to 57% and does not waste energy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Good & The Bad

My fourth Frigidaire dehumidifier in the past couple of years. (Two returned to the originating vendor for a variety of issues and one refunded under warranty by Frigidaire last fall.)
The best I can say is that this model removes humidity quickly and efficiently.
Unfortunately, it also suffers from the same issues with humidistat accuracy and reliability as its siblings. (I have tested it against three separate analog and digital hygrometers.)

After much experimentation and frustration I have found that in order for me to keep the room in the 49-52% RH range, I have to set the humidistat to 60% RH. (Which kicks it on when it reaches 65% RH according to its own skewed readings.)
If it maintains this level of consistency (which has not always been the case) I'll be satisfied. Or will be if the compressor starts up again next spring after being dormant over the winter.
Fingers crossed that Frigidaire # 4 will not be the disappointment that the first 3 were.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

works good but noisy...Hissing noise coming ....

the unit works good. but it is very noisy . I wish I had tried this model before buying online... there a very irritating noise coming from the compressor, something like a hissing ... overall I would have bought a different model. also the water bucket is not simple to empty. I had other dehumidifier with a more friendly bucket

Quite, and solidly built

We bought this couple of months agog or our basement. This unit seems solidly built, runs very quit, very easy to use and setup. Best part is that it keeps my basement moisture free. I love this product
