I bought this dehumidifier after my previous Frigidaire dehumidifier died after 8 years of continued usage. This one is quieter, and the higher pint capacity keeps my basement drier than ever.

Worked great, but broke.

Used it for about a year and a half for our home and it worked great! After 15 months something went wrong with the humidity control sensor so whenever it is plugged in it beeps constantly. We are debating if it would be worth it to purchase another and hope that it lasts longer, or breaks faster so it would still be under warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very powerful and not too big

We have an old, very damp house with a serious mildew problem. Since remodeling a walk-in closet between the bathroom and bedroom, we need to keep the space dry and clothes mildew-free. We ordered the dehumidifier and I have been amazed by the amount of water it pulls from the air in just a couple of hours. We're in a drought, so I use the water to flush the toilet instead of pouring it down the sink.
I especially like that the machine is fairly compact and has wheels and a handle, so I can roll it into a corner when not in use.
The water bucket has a carrying handle too. Make sure it is all the way down before you close the bucket or your bucket will get stuck in the machine. The machine makes a whooshing sound that is fairly soft. As damp air flows into the front, warm, dry air blows out the top. A small space quickly feels warm and dry.

Bought this larger dehumidifier for our basement as we have a crawl space. It runs pretty continuously and draws a lot of moisture out, which is good. Really glad we bought the larger one as it fills up quickly.
