Worked great until YEAR 3 - then has FAILED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked like a champ for the first three years. Almost exactly 3 years old, unit now runs continuously and very little water is removed. It is freezing up below the coils during the spring/summer months here in Indiana when basement is warmer. Shouldn't the warranty cover mechanical (coolant?) failure?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely Disappointed

Purchased this product in mid-August 2015. Used for only a couple of months in 2015 and approximately 6 months in 2016. When I started using it in April 2017 it kept shutting off and displaying the "EC" code. The operating room temperature is between 68 to 72° F and the outlet voltage is 115V±10%. Repeated unplugging and re-plugging of the unit (as suggested in the Operating Instructions) does not correct the problem. I note that this identical problem has been reported concerning this model dehumidifier numerous times on this and other websites. Based on the frequency of occurrence, something is obviously amiss in the design and/or
manufacture of this product.

Quieter than previous dehumidifier.

Great feautures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this about a month ago after the previous Frigidaire died. It had a sealed system leak which would have cost more to fix than to just replace. We had it since 2009 so I guess it lasted longer than most would expect. The new unit works great. Nice features although the bucket goes in fairly hard. You feel like you are breaking something to get it tightly closed so it will run. Otherwise fantastic.
