Reliable dehumidifier.

I have had the Frigidaire for 6 years now (model FDF70S1), and it is a reliable unit that removes humidity from my basement everyday. For example, I have a temperature/humidity digital thermometer and it confirms that my basement is at 45% humidity and it is comfortable and dry. I would recommend to others to purchase.

Our very old house (circa 1790) is totally constructed with wood-even the interior walls. Living in the South, the humidity gets very high. My husband is allergic to mold so we need to keep the humidity below 45%. I have 3 of your dehumidifiers and they work 24/7 going on for 3 years without any problems! Thanks for a great product!

Been using this dehumidifier for two months, and it is a real workhorse ... we have had a very humid spring/summer so far (lots of rain) ... the heat pump cannot keep the humidity levels low enough, so this unit stepped right in and is doing the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this unit a couple months ago due to a water leak in our basement. The unit has performed flawlessly. It fills the bucket up every 6-8 hours and has been very dependable.

Easy to use

I use this unit along with another brand 70 pint dehumidifier to dehumidify our 3200 sq ft home. It is quieter than the other unit and doesn't seem to run as much.

Compressor Failed in One Year

Purchased unit in August 2013. Worked well rest of summer and the summer of 2014. Do not use in fall and winter. In spring 2015,the compressor did not function when the unit was turned on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
