Outstanding replacement

Bought this unit to replace a recalled unit. Runs quiet, moves a lot of air (2100 sq ft basement) and pulls much more moisture out of the air. (5-10 gals a day) Just received an electric bill and it was much less. Old unit ran almost continuously and had trouble removing the humidity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy but works.

Have to shut off to carry on a conversation. Difficult to empty water without spilling. Plastic handle on water container is quite weak in appearance and appears breakable so we carry it with two hands on the sides.

It does the job

I bought this model for my basement. I've been very happy with it. It's relatively quiet and the digital controls function well. It dries out my basement very quickly. On humid days, I have to empty it daily; otherwise every couple of days is the norm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Liking the Frigidaire FAD704DWD Dehumidifier sofar

I received this Frigidaire FAD704DWD as a warranty replacement after my last Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier quit working at the beginning of the second season (thankful for the 2-year warranty!) This is a different design, so must have corrected problems with the older design. It works like a champ to keep my basement humidity levels around 50%, running only when it needs to. Makes a bit of noise, but there's no way to blow out this much air and not make noise. Overall, I like it, and hope it holds up for many years.

Great Unit

I've been using this for several months in my basement without a single issue. I like the feature where you can connect a drain hose directly to a pump. I use the pump attached to my furnace which removes the condensation. Prior to using the unit my basement felt very cold, not so much now.
