Very efficient

Takes moisture out of our basement very quickly. Only downside is the humidistat, it is no where near accurate. It is at least 20 degrees off.

Using it in a very damp basement. Seems to keep up, raised my electric bill about 35.00.

Good - but could have a few improvements

Pros: Dehumidifies as it should, efficiently.
Cons: Humidistat which only functions in 5% increments, is basically useless. I can never tell what the actual humidity is in my room, as it frequently jumps back and forth in 5% increments, leaving me to wonder what it really is. I wonder also then how it knows when to cycle on/off the compressor with this inaccurate humidistat.

Also, the unit is quiet the power hog (though most dehumidifiers are...) my utility bill went up though I have no comparison against other brands or models as this is my first dehumidifier.
The unit is also rather loud, even on LOW setting. There isn't much of a difference between LOW and HIGH. Both are pretty loud and fan speed seems high even on low.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best results during comparison tests

I have over 30 stringed instruments, therefore sustaining the correct humidity is very important in my music room. I tested this unit against other units & it outperformed them in features & humidity control. I love the handle for being able to move device to another location.

The unit seems to be working well with the addition of the free drain accessory (Kit EA155D. I am able to use a hose to drain 30+ feet without the addon the unit did not drain. Pleased so far with the unit.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. I WAS AMAZED AT THE AMT. OF MOISTURE IT PULLS OUT OF THE AIR. SADLY, I DID NOT EXPECT THE EXPELLED WARM AIR AS IT RUNS, THOUGH.
