Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the day of delivery of my refrigerator, it did not work-period. The company and my owner of the appliance store, Derby in NJ, were not helpful in replacing the refrigerator in a timely way. I waited 6 days to get the new refrigerator that works fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We only have our spectacular fridge for two weeks. In addition to the gorgeous black stainless steel on the outside; we are delighted with the functions offered. The ice maker that resides on the inside of the left fridge door, takes up such little room, making space for more fridge items. It is quiet and efficient making perfect cubes or crushed ice. The storage space in the fridge is enormous! The fruit & veggie bins keep those items at a perfect temperature. The full-width deli drawer has lots of room too. The freezer has three separate storage areas so you can organize your frozen items to retrieve quickly. Also, one of the best features with this fridge is the beauty of having stainless steel and not having fingerprints to constantly wipe off! On a scale of 1 to 10, we would give this fridge a 10 and highly recommend purchasing it. You will be in love as soon as it arrives! We even named ours Freeda the Fridge!

I thought I was buying a quality product so I didn’t purchase an extended warranty now I’m sorry I don’t have an extended warranty. Feeling like I didn’t purchase a reliable quality product.

Great look, features, quiet, poor reliability

We love the look, feel, features, quietness and Energy Star efficiency of this refrigerator. The reliability has been a big disappointment. Had to pay to have the ice maker spout realigned (made an icing mess) after about a year of service. A known assembly problem that LG wouldn't back. Yesterday, after only 3 years, had to replace the compressor (under parts warranty, but had to pay $$$ for labor). Others in my neighborhood have had the same compressor problem in the same time frame. in addition, I registered the products with LG right after purchase. MyLG website showed totally different products. I had to re-submit everything and now it's OK.
i used to love LG stuff, now I'm skeptical

We are very happy with the refrigerator other than the fact that the spec sheet was off by almost a whole half and inch and so we had to have a woodworker come and cut the cabinets above the refrigerator for it to fit in. Hopefully this comment will help others.

Refrigerator stopped cooling

This refrigerator is just barely more than 3 years old and totally stopped cooling. Had to throw out a ton of food. Called LG and was told certain parts still under warranty. Problem is that I live in Maui and no authorized LG repairman and no one on the island that can work on LG. Even if I could find someone, LG would have to approve them before they sent the part and then we still pay the labor. This fridge was too expensive to already quit working. Had to buy a new fridge. Do not purchase this refrigerator.

Horrible product

Bought refrigiator 2 1/2 years ago, and already dead. LG tech was here and changed out compressor, well that wasn't it . Now we are a week into no refrigiator, and tech is coming back out for a third time with all new parts. LG was aware of this problem when unit was assembled,and obvious didn't care. So what else is new. So let's see what they do now, if not fixed I'll throw It out.Would never buy Life's Good again. More like a Life Not Good

Condenser fan issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator 4 weeks ago. Has great features. 3 days ago, error messages appeared on the display. We reset by shutting off power. This corrected the issue for a couple of hours. The service tech was out today and said the condenser fan is bad and needs to be replaced. Parts will take about 3 to 5 days. Glad we purchased the extended warranty!
