[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was roomy, looked great and had all the features I wanted. However, after 3 years, it died. Stop cooling completely. After doing my research, it appears I was not alone. I called LG and they were friendly and got me a service date within 48 hours.
The technician came out and fixed it. Replaced the line compressor. Then 4 days later, my refrigerator dies again. I cannot even express my sadness. To have to throw away food, whip out a cooler, buy ice and freak out about medication not being cooled.
Please do your research.

Extemely disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge in 2015. Nothing but problems from day 1. Several warranty repairs on the sliding freezer drawer not sliding out properly. 3 years after purchase the defrost sensor went out, a year later the mother board went out. $700 in repairs so far. Now at 5 years and the refrigerator is at 57 F and the freezer won't go below 35F. NEVER again will I buy any LG products!

After 5 years have to replace

We bought this unit and after 5 years we have a freon leak and compressor went. No warranty and basically have to buy a new refrigerator. I will NEVER BUY any LG Product again.

Compressor Fails Multiple Times

We purchased this unit in June 2016. By November 2018, the compressor had failed and we lost an entire freezer and fridge worth of food and medicine. LG replaced the compressor. Here we are, 20 months later and the compress has failed AGAIN!!! This is nuts. I was not a cheap purchase. We expected soooo much more from LG.

COmplete Waste of Money

Purchased this model less than 3 years ago. 2 of my sisters had the same model and brand so i thought it was a safe bet. Last night the freezer stopped working and we came home to a pile of water on our new wood floors. Trouble finding a repair man. Several places said they don't repair LG because they are junk.
