After 6 1/2 yrs of use, the compressor died. I didn't even make a warranty claim because I didn't want another piece of LG equipment.

Very disappointing

I bought this fridge in 2018. It has broken down twice in 4 years due to shoddy workmanship. Do not recommend this product.

Much to my surprise it was under warranty and the representative was extremely helpful in scheduling a repair. The repairman was very professional and replaced the compressor and responded to all my questions and concerns.

We've had it a few years now and unfortunately the compressor stopped working.
Since it was under warranty it was covered 100%. Not only was the compressor covered but we were reimbursed for most of the food inside.
I was concerned with the noise I was hearing every time it turned on and was going to give it a couple of days to adjust before I called about it. By day 3 it adjusted because I no longer hear it turning on any more! The quietness of the refrigerator was one of my favorite things about it. Along with that the size and room inside is perfect.
