So far, I am really enjoying this fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for 8 months and so far, so good. I like the water dispenser and the ice . Surprisingly keeps enough ice too. I am also happy with the layout as we have a counter depth style.

If yours is icing up....

We bought this fridge for the capacity and were pleased until noticing produce and things in the bottom bin were freezing. Look in the back and there's a glacier building up. Turns out this is an error in the software that can be easily fixed by calling LG and having them come out.

As an empty nester I don't need a cavernous refrigerator, but I do need it to hold more when kids are home or when I entertain. My previous side-by-side was 26 cu. ft., yet this 24 cu. ft. unit actually holds more. My only minor compromise is that the produce bins are a touch on the small side. However, the counter depth saved me inches in my kitchen and makes the space feel larger.
The motor runs silently and food is cooled evenly. Love how the LED lighting makes it so easy to see everything--no more dark recesses! Everything in this design is clearly well thought out including the slim space ice maker, easy to access water and air filters, and the tall ice and water dispenser. A three-door style is an organizer's dream.
I didn't skimp on this purchase because the refrigerator is about the hardest working appliance in the house, and this one is a daily joy to use. I knew I would like it, I didn't expect to love it as much I do!

We did a lot of research before buying this fridge. We are very pleased with our purchase. It is very quiet, has wonderful LED lighting and has plenty of compartments in both the upper and lower areas to help organize our food. The slim design of the ice maker is an improvement from past refrigerators. It is tucked out of the way with shelving in front so that there is no wasted space.

Problem with frost buildup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has several design flaws. Frost builds up in the refrigerator compartment, which keeps the bottom drawer from closing all the way, and eventually keeps the door from closing completely. The door alarm does not sound if the door is only slightly open, causing the frost and ice to melt and run out on the floor and food spoilage.
