[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this product in November 2016. The icemaker did NOT work from the beginning. Only 2 years old, and now it doesn't even keep cool temps in fridge or freezing temps in freezer
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very dissapointed!

Purchased the LG LFXC24726S in July, 2017. After 14 months, the refrigerator does not go below 50 degrees (freezer is fine). We have the Master Protection Agreement from Sears (thank goodness). After 5 Service calls, they sensors have been replaced in the refrigerator (back inside panel) and the control board & sensor in the freezer has been replaced. Still not fixed! Waiting on next step, replace the refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst refrigerator we ever owned. Compressor went out after 18 months and all food went bad. Also, I door vibrates and makes a disturbing noise when the motor is running.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings

Failure to perform

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge and frankly it is a horrible product. Shortly after the warranty expired, the wrapping around the fridge started to chip away. Also, multiple drawers started to break apart (the plastic on the top of draws cracked, slides for freshness fell, and one drawer the face just fell off). Now, after 2.5 years with the fridge, the entire thing has stopped working. Would be nice if a company would take pride in their products versus just making yet another piece of garbage to sell to consumers.

Very Poor Reliability in a Nice Package
on May 15, 2019

I purchased this refrigerator a little over two years ago. It worked well for the first two years, and then the compressor failed completely. Ever since it has been an awful experience working with LG. They had to replace the compressor and both evaporators which required 5 separate service calls and repair visits and the refrigerator still doesn't work. I then called customer service again and they began the process to review whether or not they would replace the unit. 4 calls to customer service later, they still have not said they would replace unit, instead they just keep saying that it was referred to the wrong department and that they will review it within 48-72 hours. End result, I have had a non-working refrigerator for 2 months and there is still to resolution in sight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Should be replaced by LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge has been nothing but problems. Bad circuit board and compressor. Had spoiled food twice and still not repaired! Several other reviews have indicated the same problems. LG should be obligated to replace this model with a new one at no charge due to the defects!
