Dead in 6 years and LG can’t fix it

lfxs30726s Has had problems since 1 year old. LG came out multiple times to work on it under warranty, but freezer would still periodically thaw everything. Now it’s not cooling anything, out of full warranty, but under the ‘10’ year parts warranty. But, you have to pay an LG tech hundreds of dollars to replace the warranty parts. On top of that, their tech has been here four times and it still doesn’t work. Garbage product and garbage support.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product has so much space

Recently purchased this french door refrigerator. It is by far the best unit that I have owned. There is so much space inside both the top section and the freezer section.
I have yet to fill it up and with my previous unit it was always filled to the top. The unit runs very quiet. In fact sometimes I have to put my ear to the door to hear it.
The ice maker makes smaller cubes but there is always an ample supply. I have never run out of ice cubes.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Refrigerator we ever owned!

We bought this refrigerator 2 months ago and are very pleased with it. It's the first French Door style & we love the extra space it provides. We were concerned the doors wouldn't have enough space, having owned a side by side before, but we actually have more room that our previous refrigerator.
The freezer also has more room & t's very easy to find items in it. We had concerns there weren't enough shelves, but so far have not had an issue.
It's very quiet. Our kitchen is open to the family room & we watch TV with no problem & do not hear any noise. The ice maker doesn't even make noise when it drops the ice into the bin.
We love the design of the water dispenser because we can put a large pitcher under it.
We researched refrigerators for over a year and this model has everything we need.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Great when it runs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an LG fan for a long time but this 'top of the line' fridge has me just a little upset. 4 service calls in 2 years. Computer problems(3) and a broken compressor. Not a good record in my estimation.

Terrible Product

We have owned this refrigerator for 4 years and have had to replace the refrigerator fan 3 times! Of course the first repair was just past the warranty window. The first 2 times we paid a service man $300 each time to fix. He said the LG products are terrible and there were high amount of issues with this model and it should have been recalled. The 3rd time I bought the fan part online for $70 and repaired it myself. Terrible customer service. Terrible quality. Terrible product period for something that costs over $2500. I will never buy another LG product again and I will do everything I can to discourage people from buying LG products.

Very spacious and quiet

This fridge is awesome! It has loads of space, is very quiet and is absolutely perfect! The only thing it is missing is an egg holder and that's it.

Great features, sleek design, keeps food fresher

We went on a pretty extensive search when our refrigerator died and thank god we found this one. I liked it in the store, but I LOVE it at home. The ice production is great and there's an extra bin in the freezer for additional ice storage if you happen to go through a lot of ice. There's SO much room in the refrigerator. I've always had the problem of having to do extensive digging to find certain items and that is NO problem here. The freezer drawer has two shelves, one pulls out when you open (but you can push it back in) and the other is one that hides the ice bin and where you can place smaller items.
Now onto the thing that has impressed me the most: how long this thing keeps food fresh. I went on an 11 day vacation and I had some fresh produce in the refrigerator drawers. I told my mother "Hey, be sure to use X, Y, and Z while I'm away, because it'll go by the time I return." Of course she didn't. And much to my surprise, the lettuce is as fresh and crisp as the day I bought it; the grapes just as plump; the zucchini and cucumber both just as firm and at the right moisture for each. I really couldn't believe it.
Others have reported a humming noise, but I'm curious if that was some sort of damage incurred in the delivery? Our refrigerator makes no noise at all. Unless you count the alarm for the door being open too long.
I'll definitely be looking to replace all of my home appliances with LG products if they're up to this quality!
