Bose Excellance as Usual

I have purchased other Bose products in the past and this unit is great like the rest of their speakers. Yes, it is not going to put out the sound level that my old floor speakers or the 301's but it still does a great job. I couldn't get the Bluetooth to work the first time until I plugged it in while synching it but have not had any issue since. It was probably something I was doing. Love this speaker and now want to get another to have on my desk at work rather than bring this one back and forth.

I've had a green one for six months, and it ROCKS!! Speaker is loud and clear, like I like it. I listen mostly to metal, but all music sounds crisp and clear. A must buy for sure!!

I recently wrote a negative review on this speaker due to the fact that it would not power on anymore after only 13 months. I was disappointed to read all the negative reviews and figured that my speaker would not work again and it was out of warranty. I tried to reset it and different chargers, nothing worked. Bose customer service reached out to me on facebook sending me a link to update software and that resolved the issue for now. I love this little speaker I just hated that it broke so early on. The sound is good for the size and I have no problem linking it to my phone on blue tooth. I would like to change my review from 1 star to 5. If you are having issues with yours, reach out to customer service. They will assist you and hopefully get yours back on.

I took a chance from the positive reviews and purchased this little Bluetooth.............it certainly did not disappoint. it's really amazing the sound that comes out of this little speaker.

I have been very happy with this. I leave it connected via bluetooth to the tablet in my family room. It never loses the connected even after several days. The sound is incredible for the size. Very satisfied.

To start off, I bought the Soundlink Color nearly one year ago, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Compared to the other speakers I've previously owned, this is by far the best one on the market. If you're searching for a speaker that has master-grade sound, a reasonable price tag, and a durable build, the Soundlink Color is the right choice. When listening to music, I always surprise myself with the fact that it's coming from this small speaker in front of me.
Sound Quality/Design: Bose's speaker stands out among others on the market thanks to its music evaluation. While other speakers simply project the inputted music directly to the listener, the Soundlink Color actually analyzes the sounds, varying the volumes and outputting the music through two speakers (one on the back and one on the front). This means that the bass, treble, and mid are just right: not too intense, not too soft, but just loud enough to add a whole other level to the music quality. I usually listen to jazz, and the Soundlink Color always does an excellent job of bringing out all the aspects of the music in the most optimal way. Additionally, the tiny, compact speakers can beautifully project the sounds in a way indistinguishable from that of an entire room stereo system; the two speakers on the device work together the make the music envelop your ears rather than just directing it towards the face. Finally, the speaker projects over the voices of others in a room, meaning that it's still great when several people are around. The device is a bit expensive, but considering how good the sound quality is, I'm surprised by how low they're selling it for. Obviously, these aren't studio quality speakers, but if you do casual listening nearly every day like me, this is the speaker to go with.
Build Quality/Design: It's still a marvel to me at how Bose developed such a simple yet elegant speaker; all the parts piece together to create such a physically appealing speaker. With a whole range of colors to choose from, the outer shell covering is made of matted, high-quality plastic. This plastic is perfect for resisting drops; on one or two occasions, I dropped the Soundlink Color from my desk, yet there were no scratches, cracks, or dents. The rest of the device, including the buttons and outer outline, is covered in soft, velvety rubber. On the front, there's the main speaker as well as Bose's logo above it. On the back side, there's an additional support speaker as well as the charger plug-in (USB Micro-B, they provided the charger) and an AUX cord plug-in. On the top, there are six buttons: Power, Bluetooth, AUX, pause/play, decrease volume, and increase volume. On the bottom, there are four rubber pads for keeping the speaker in place, which do an excellent job. The speaker is extremely lightweight considering its sound quality, and its small size is perfect for travel. When traveling, I usually slide the speaker into the outer pocket of my backpack, which fits just fine. There's absolutely nothing flawed with the design, and I'm impressed with what Bose accomplished.
Accessibility/Interface: Being designed for the user's ease there's nothing difficult about using the speaker's interface. Pairing with devices is a seamless experience, one that's much faster than what other speakers offer. All I have to do is power up the speaker, turn on the music, and enjoy the performance. So far, it's worked perfectly with the devices I've used it on (iPhones, iPads, Windows 10, Android phones).
Overall, this is the best speaker I've used. If you're looking for a speaker that has both great sound and a relatively low price, this is the perfect match. Personally, I'm really looking forward to what Bose has to offer in the future.
