WOW! HARD TO BELIEVE

I've been using Bose products for 32 years (901's, 501's, 301's, Companion 20, Companion 5, and Wave Radios). The latest addition to my family is the SoundLink Color Speaker). All I can say is WOW! Great sound, wide spectrum . . . I charged the speaker up and I have been listening to it at various volume levels for 14 hours now and the battery has not run out yet. Incredible! Solid Feel, nice appearance, a variety of functions, quick pairing . . .I am Completely Satisfied!

Little rugged speaker

I'm a big Bose fan so with the advent of Bluetooth speakers guess where I went.
This little thing rocks. But be mindful of where you place it. Sounds much better a few feet from a wall. I use this speaker at work and home. Love the sound but connecting can be a bit aggravating. And the battery life is a bit short. At low levels ...all day. At close to full maybe 6 hours.
Did I mention rugged ? I fell 20 feet off a boat and still works !
Only complaint is paring and that could be operator error.....
If only I could link two.......

Most other external or any other speakers have poor sound quality and volume. Not this one. This one is Perfect!!!!! one complaint,I can't buy 10 of em

The speaker just received as a Christmas gift is a wonder to tech. Simple and just quirky enough in it's appearance to be interesting. Deep bass sound with enhancement of tonal qualities in guitar, piano and jazz are it's strengths. I may by another just to fill out a large room. It's all one would need. Thanks Santa!

Will not turn on...

Just received this item as a Christmas gift, charged it for 3hrs until the battery light turned green, disconnected from the wall and it did not turn on, on battery power. After plugging it again it did turn on, took it today for a bicycle tride but didn't turn on again on battery power. Just got home and connected it to the outlet and turned on.
After it is on, i can disconnect from the outlet and use but not before. Has a similar issue been reported?

terrible sound quality

I have had the bose mini soundlink ($199) for over two years and it has been the best speaker! no issues, still works great. I decided to buy the bose soundlink color ($129) for a friend, thinking that it was still bose and the quality would still be good despite a minor price difference. I was wrong, this speaker's sound quality is heinous it sounds like someone blew the speaker out (except it came this way).It rattles, crackles, you name it. I don't know if its a faulty speaker because other people seem satisfied with theirs...this one is bad. Either buy the 200$ bose speaker or take your money elsewhere
