We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the sound. However, the issue with charging is a concern and we'd like to help. There are a couple of troubleshooting steps to get you back to enjoying this speaker.
The first step would be a product reset. Let's plug it into power and press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard.
Should the reset fail to do the trick, there is also a software update that may provide resolution for you. Here is a link to that update:

I love this speaker! Great sound and I've even dropped it in the hot tub and it still works. I don't think it's supposed to be water proof, but nobody told it. Mickey

Awesome Sound quality for such a small unit

Used for the first time today after picking it up at the weekend. Amazing sound quality. Missed my old Sound Link 2 which the ex took with her, forgot how good the sound quality was in the Bluetooth speaker range.

Small size, Big sound

I purchased my SoundLink Color close to a year ago and have not had one bit of trouble with it. It holds a charge for a full day, charges fully overnight, and in every room I use it, the sound is full with good balance for a single speaker. I would recommend this to anyone who wants portability, good sound, and ease of use.

Not working

Did not use the speaker much. When we did, it seemed to charge but would not turn on or connect to ipod. The first time this happened, we played with it for an hour and it did come on and worked fine. Now it will not turn on at all.

Charging Problem Very Disappointed...

I bought this speaker last month and charged it regularly. After three uses it did not turn back on. No sign of power or battery life while or after charging. I enjoyed the speaker while it lasted but now it seems like a waste of money. I called the tollfree hotline, tried updating & even tried resetting the speaker and nothing worked.

Updating and resetting the speaker were both great ideas, and definitely something we would recommend. It is possible it may be the cord itself, or even the connector on the SoundLink Color. The system has a one-year warranty and we would like to help you with this.

Awesome product. Never fails to impress anywhere I bring it. Should be on commission as many said they would buy one based on what they heard and what they saw (simple, light, stylish) when I used it!
