Love this product

Bought two for my son in laws for Xmas and then bought myself one. We use it at the pool and we take it to Florida with us. I take it anywhere in my house to listen to music. Have several other Bose producers. Love my Bose!!

Somewhat DIsappointed

We've had the unit for about 8 months and it worked great for the first 6 or so. Then suddenly it wouldn't take a charge. We updated the software via the computer yet it still won't take a charge when plugged into the wall. We tried using the power cord from a unit that we purchased for a friend and it worked perfectly. We noticed that the 2nd power cord fit more snuggly into the unit. The cord that came with it has a lot of play. Furthermore, it appears to work when the wall plug is removed and it is used via USB. Attempted to phone tech support however after sitting on hold for over 20 minutes had to get on with my life. Very bummed!

Poor battery life

Was happy at first....not so much now.

Bought this about 8 months ago and have used it maybe 10 times, if that. Listened and compared many different brands in the electronics store where I purchased. It had the best sound by far. Loved not only the sound, but the long lasting battery. The battery lasted as long as advertised in the beginning, but as of late has not even lasted 2 hours ( closer to 1 hour ). I make sure it is fully charged each time and that the software is up to date. Very disappointed in the lack of charge time now. Sound is still great, but not much good if it doesn't last. Very surprised by this, since I know that Bose quality has always been top notch.

Best Gift I received for Christmas last year.

My wife bought me this for Christmas last year. Its the only gift I can remember receiving, as I have used this speaker all year long. Its awesome. It is well worth the money. You wont be sorry. Its also durable. I dropped it on the ground once and it still works great and there was no damage. Thanks Bose for another great product.

Better than i expected

Sound is clear and loud. No complaints at all. set up was impossibly easy, done in about 10 seconds, seriously. so Im wondering if i can pair two? with the aux cord maybe? You know to be super loud? Anyone know? I am playing via bluetooth from iphone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your favorable comments about the SoundLink Color. As Bluetooth is a one to one pairing, sadly you will not be able to pair two speakers at the same time.

My Soundlink is NOT working now!

I got the BSL as a Xmas gift (2014) from my lovely wife, cause she knows I listen to music, and this nice little and portable speaker works with my tablet. I have enjoyed using the BSL until yesterday; the unit stopped working during our house party. Not sure why this happened, but the unit is dead. Power went off; re-charging did not help. No signs of electronic life; will not turn-on after an overnight recharge. I am completely bummed out. How do I return this doorstop?
