Third Bose speaker product I've owned

My wife and I have owned the Soundlink for 10 months, is it by far the best wireless speaker we have owned. Sound is great, easy to link to multiple devices, battery life is more than sufficient, and looks good too.

Saving My Bus Ride

I bought this speaker approximately three months ago, and I am absolutely in love with it! Being a student with a 2 hour one-way commute to school, I needed a way to entertain myself as well as my peers. Everyone on the bus can easily access it to play their favorite tunes. I highly reccomend this item for anyone who is currently looking for a great, high quality speaker!

Great sound and battery!

The sound is great! They say the battery will lst 8 hour, well I have now on hour 14 with one charge and it is still going. That is so GREAT! It was so easy to hook.

Best thing I have every gotten!

I received this speaker for Christmas, and it was the best gift I have ever gotten! The speaker was very easy to set up with my iPhone, was easily set up to my computer bluetooth and the rest of my family's phones. I use it every time I take a shower, while doing homework, chores, chilling, dinner music background, anytime! The battery life can go for days with very heavy usage, beautiful music quality and is a real staple in my daily life. My father has the Mini Soundlink, and the quality of music is the same. The plastic is also very durable, and every time I have accidentally - hehe - dropped it, I have had no worries that I would break it since it's so compact. Overall, this product is something I simply cannot live without now. I have taken it overseas (great size and shape as well!), and I am so glad I got it for Christmas. Good job Bose!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

First one wouldn't connect to blue tooth and was inoperable, I got a replacement the next day- same deal even after phone calls to customer service and suggested downloads/update which I underwent as instructed, no luck. Returned that one and bought Bose SoundLink II for more money hoping for a pleasant surprise. It was also inoperable, non-exhistant battery capacity, same bluetooth connectivity issues, returned that and said farewell to Bose. Got Sony SRS-X5 - it works like a spell and sound like an angel.

That sounds like a frustrating experience. Thanks for taking the time to write your review. As an employee who has been in technical support for several years, I can honestly say that it is very unusual to have a defective unit in such a short time, let alone three of them.

Fantastic little sound box.

On occasion I want to sink my digital music quickly. I usually listen to records, but find when I am in a hurry -and my audiophile bug is not bitting- simplicity wins the day. Cleaning the house for example: I do not want any cleaning products near my gear or records. This little speaker reproduces notes with a surprising amount of nuance. "Bass", thankfully, is not overtly pronounced. Overall construction is durable: the blue color is rather charming. Battery life for me is well over eight hours. Volume though seldom interests me. I am after neutral reproduction which this speaker, given its obvious limitations, does very well. In fact, I shall purchase a second for those rare moments when I feel like singing along with Rob Halford during my morning shower. (No, the speaker is not water proof). But it will sit well on the towel rack safe from any soaking. A delightful little speaker which has proven to be most convenient.

Awesome! Great bass, volume, durability

I've had this speaker for about 7 months now and I love it. It connects very easily, although sometimes when a video is paused on my laptop, the speaker eventually disconnects on its own - and a little too quick at that. However, never had problems playing music.
Besides that, I bring it with me to friends' houses and everyone comments on the quality of sound, the bass and the volume for such a tiny unit. Everyone is pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. I would estimate I get about 4-5 hours of play time before it becomes low in battery. I think as an owner you have to expect that you should have the charger around you at all times. I mean, does your laptop last all day long? Probably not. It's designed to bring around with you - you pick it up and move to the other room. You leave and turn it off (or bring it with you!!!). You come back home and bring it back to your room. Oops, batteries low. You plug it in. It's how it's designed to be used.
Additionally, the mint green color is the best and I love the matte finish. The speaker also says my name way better than any human I have ever encountered! So I enjoy pairing all my devices just to hear her say my name!
Finally, I've had this thing take a couple horrible spills... not a single dent or scratch. Nothing.
Given the size and the wireless-ness of this speaker, this thing packs a punch. It's definitely worth the money. I'm sure if you receive a faulty one, an easy exchange/warranty claim would rectify your situation. It's absolutely raised my quality of life.
